Hillyards have been building boats for more than 100 years. It is difficult to establish exactly how many have been built under the David Hillyard name, as accurate records were only established in the 1950s, but it is believed more than 700 can claim the famous, distinctive brand. Many are still enjoyed by their owners today and considered ‘classics’ within the sailing fraternity.
